@nuke1989 if you were christian you could't believe in buddha, but buddhism doesn't say you can't believe in other religion, thats why i love buddhism

ITS all about believes.......... really!!! I never make fun of Christianity or Catholic religion before.... i do believe in jesus/god.... i dont think god created this world. earth is here long before god. But yea im Buddhist, but i do believe in other religion. So please try not to make fun of buddhist. If u have a chance visit Thailand some of the most famous temples up north/south/east/west all over the country.

U can go to thailand and go to all the famous temple it will be pack with people because it is really something special about that temple. Some monk died sitting in meditation form. He is not rotting, hairs grows, nails get longer, skin is fresh. i forgot the monk name.... but he is really popular down south of thailand in the cave somewhere. i dont remember been there like 15 years ago.

i've seen it myself about the tattoos. i might not have the correct information but its what i heard. u have to stay under some certain rules in order to keep it SPECIAL POWER. the basic one are cant cheat on ur wife/lie/drink alcohol on certain days and so on. there also a way to reduce the power of those spell, which im not gonna say.

every morning they will walk through a neiborhood so people can Tuk Bark (means to provide food for the monk) usually around 6-9am. And the other one is strong in spell or Pook-Sek mean enchanting or enhancing. they have this ancient language called Bali. they will put a spell on a dagger/tattoos/amulets/charms/cloths/ and so on. Some of the materials they use to make the amulet some time they use part of the fetus and some other stuff to make Ku Man Tong amulet meaning Golden Baby.

they are very strict. there are a lot of good thai buddah out there. there is different kind of buddah in Thai/Burma/Cambodia. there are teaching from the book; not bible(like the preacher), other is powerful meditation.... they would walk across countries with there mind meditated. they would sleep (not lie down, but sitting in meditation state) in a small net just enough to block the insect.
