X-treme

X-Treme is our new helicopter trainer concealing a completely new design based on the latest findings and developments in helicopter technology. The two-stage toothed-belt gearbox provides a reduction ratio of 9: 1, and the twin toothed belts make this helicopter extremely quiet in operation. It is designed for 10 - 11.5 corn rear exhaust or side-exhaust engines. The engine in the X-Treme is started from above using a 6 mm hexagon starter probe.

The model itself is easy to handle, and engine starting is quite straightforward.. A carbon fiber drive system connects the main gearbox to the tail rotor and runs inside the 25 mm 0 tail boom. The control system from the tail rotor servo to the tail bell crank is also based on a carbon fiber tube. The carbon fiber vertical stabilizer is designed to eliminate the need for a separate tailskid. It is a specially designed component which contributes to the model's extremely stable characteristics when flying forwards and backwards at high speed. The aerodynamic efficiency of the X-Treme's bodywork is the perfect complement to the model's high top speed. The X-Treme is capable of raising your pleasure in flying to an entirely new level. The machine's performance envelope is far wider than that of conventional helicopters, and you will soon find that it is the ideal platform for you to show off your new-found piloting skills. The X-Treme features a direct 3-point or 4-point servo linkage as standard. A mechanical mixer is available as an accessory, as is a rotor head with a fly-bar to blade holder ratio of virtually 1 :1. Another variant is produced by replacing the rocker and linkage levers etc.
